I’m a full stack developer with 10 years of experience creating enterprise applications (though working mostly on the backend).

I had the privilege to work in an enterprise R&D lab for the last three years, which was a great experience. I got to develop lots of proof-of-concept work, focus on solving trenchant problems, collaborate with people in many different job roles across the company, and learn a lot of different technlogies.

As a result, I hold two patents so far as a primary contributor1 related to my work there.

Patents

In addition, I have been a primary contributor on 32 patent submissions. Here’s how that breaks down:

  • 2 were granted by the USPTO (United States Patent and Trademark Office)
  • 8 more were filed by our attorneys (big processing backlog at the USPTO)
  • 5 are still in the queue to be filed at the USPTO
  • 15 were closed/not filed by the attorneys (~50%) due to non-uniqueness, or other concerns
  • 2 more were submitted to the attorneys for review, but have not yet been reviewed

PSA

As an aside: I’m looking for people who want to collaborate on interesting, creative, out there projects of any ilk. This could be a video installation, a screenplay, a type of art that needs code to exist, etc.

I’m more interested in the the process itself, than the actual outcome. If you or someone you know wants to explore a collaborative artistic endeavor, let’s chat!

On a Personal Note

I have a dog. She is very pretty.

Alt

  1. There are usually 2-5 contributors on average, as these usually grow out of a team’s active explorations. We usually chose to divide and conquer when submitting.
